Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
This checklist outlines the key requirements and steps for preparing and submitting an article in Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3.4. Authors must ensure compliance with these items before submission. The checklist is typically presented during the submission process, and authors check off each item to confirm adherence.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Additional Preparation and Submission Steps:
- Select the appropriate section for your submission (e.g., article, review).
- Provide any comments for the editor.
- Read and agree to the journal's privacy statement.
- Prepare files for upload: Start with the main manuscript, then add supporting files (e.g., images, datasets).
- Enter metadata: Title, abstract, keywords, and contributors.
- Review and confirm the submission before finalizing.
Note: Journals may customize this checklist in their workflow settings, so always check the specific journal's guidelines.
